Hi im 21yrs old and i have been training now for around one year in which ive made some good gains in the first six months but now hit a bit of a sticking point and got into a rut with diet and training really.. im not really gaining in strength now like i was which i think could be down to lack of good diet aswell as not recording what im lifting so im not knowing when to add poundage...
i realise my mistakes but i thought id just come on here so a couple of you would get my a** in gear lol... ;D

Thank You

Alex

I personally never keep a record of what I'm lifting, I lift according to how I feel on the day.
How many times a week were you training? try this work out for a couple of months and see how you go: monday- chest/biceps, wednesday- shoulders/legs, friday- back and triceps. Some people like to do chest/tri's and back/bi's together but I have made good gains following the example above.
It is always best to change your workouts from time to time, get plenty of good quality protein, carbs and essentail fatty acids plus plenty of rest and you shuold be back gaining muscle and strength soon

Hey, well lately i have been training 4 times a week as well as playing football for my team but i would seriously like to get into bodybuilding a bit more seriously so may knock the football on the head as i know it holds you back long term....
regarding diet is it essential when wanting to build mass to make sure all food is clean aka no junk food at all or should i just stick to healthy foods like pasta and rice with chicken and stuff?

Do you change things around now and then ?
Is your diet good ? and do you keep to it?
Do you have a preworkout meal?
